Program overview
Since its formation in 1974, the Doncaster Baseball Club men’s program has a long history of developing elite talent.
Current and former players who started their careers at Doncaster have represented Australia, received US college scholarships and played professionally around the world – including at the Major League level.
The program is led by Brendan McDonald and welcomes players of all skill levels aged 14 and older.

Season information
Playing from October to March, Doncaster’s senior teams compete in the Victorian Summer Baseball League’s Premier division.
In 2025-26, the club’s top two teams play on Saturday afternoons – with the Firsts also playing a dozen Tuesday night games throughout the season – while the State League Teams will play on Sundays.

Training information
Men’s Trainings are on Tuesday and Thursday nights, from 6.30-8.30pm, at Deep Creek Reserve.
