The Doncaster Women’s First IX secured a 2024/25 Baseball Victoria Premiers Women’s preliminary final spot with a 8-2 semi-final victory over Essendon at Deep Creek on Saturday.
A simply stunning seven-inning complete game outing from 2023 Australian Emerald Allie Bebbere led the Dragons, while a powerful offence including by multiple hits from Amy McCann and Vanessa Clifford proved too much for the visiting side.
The Dragons finished third on the 2024/25 Baseball Victoria Premiers Women’s ladder.
