Shout out to our six Doncaster Dragons who are off to the 2024 Barclay Cup in Sydney.
Victoria will be repping two teams in 2024, the Vic Dingoes and the Hornets, joining teams from NSW, Western Australia and South Australia at the third annual Barclay Cup – a special girls tournament that honours the legendary Australian Emerald, Jacinda Barclay.
The Dingoes side includes Olivia Walker, Kendra Rutgers and Jasmine Bentley (Pitching Coach), while Charlotte Jansen, Jamie Bastian (Asst Coach) and Jess Johnson (Pitching Coach), will line up for the Hornets.
The players have been gearing up for the Cup Baseball Victoria revamped Baseball Victoria Youth Women’s Prospects Program, led by Doncaster’s own, Victorian Women’s Head Coach Samantha Hamilton.
The seven-day event will be held at Mackillop Baseball Club in Sydney from 29 September to 5 October, and if you can’t make it, don’t worry – you can catch the live stream with Doncaster’s Amy McCann, Allie Bebbere, and Amy Cannington calling the shots!
