The Dragons completed their second consecutive club sweep with wins over Essendon and Melbourne Uni.

The Firsts batted around in the top of the first and piled on seven runs in the fourth, running out 10-4 winners over Essendon at Boeing Reserve.

Fraser Boyd pitched three innings before Derek Medlin closed it out, while Liam Robertson continued to swing a hot bat.

The Reserves also won 10-4, jumping out to an early lead that was never in danger as John Britton made his first start for the year after working an inning in relief last week.

Tom Ervin hit another home run as the undefeated Thirds cruised to an 11-3 win over Melbourne Uni, while Todd Messinger homered as the Fourths clinched a close one in the curtain-raiser, 10-8.
